Hi beautiful people! Is that true that its often not good if the planetary significator of a house is itself located in that house? For example Moon is the planetary significator of 4 house and moon is in the 4th house (conjunct with Venus and Ketu). Thank you!
Hi @zurie,
It depends on the condition of that significator. In your example the Moon does well in the 4th, because it has high Dig Bala, but the person will tend to hide their emotions because Ketu is there. Venus is also a significator for the 4th house and also does well there with high Dig Bala, but it is starved by the Moon, and also troubled by Ketu. The sign is also important.
Alex
Hi @AstroAlex They are all sitting in Virgo..so Venus is debilitated? (Venus has the lowest degree, then Ketu, Moon is the highest, but they all have more than 5 degrees between each others) Thank you for your insight! ????

This idea that a karaka in the house its a karaka for is harmful to that thing has some validity to it. But it only applies to beings. So jupiter in 5th is not helpful for children as children are beings, but jupiter in 2nd is helpful for wealth. Venus in 7th is not good for wife, but good for sex. However, its more important to examine how good the karaka is. If its bad, then the house is also bad, and so of coruse that thing is hurt.
