Hi Ernst and astro people,

I woke up today and my heart was filled with such gratitude for life and everything that I have. Don't get me wrong these dashas are crushing my nuts. But in a weird way the whole thing is beautiful. I don't know what I went through a few years back, some people call it an awakening, some call it a breakdown of everything you thought you were and knew about life, but it was terrifying and lasted a few years. And then I felt like everything in life was a blank slate and I was beginning again, sort of lost at sea. And I came across this guy on youtube with long hair and a baby blue knit jumper, the kind your grandma might have knitted for you as a christmas present, and as I listened to his videos, I realised things could be different in life, our cultural/childhood programming that sets the stage for our life - isn't all that there is.

When you're going through a tough chapter in life, it's human nature to look for someone, a guide, someone who can give you a little hope or show you the way, and that's what Ernst has been. I'm forever grateful, that when I'm feeling lost, or people are trying to push me around in life to settle for less, I can youtube the 'how to fix your jupiter' video, and it reminds me of what's real in life, everything that comes out of yourself, and it puts things back into perspective.

I know that you tend to be self effacing (British people are born like this so I get it lol) and you don't like the praise since that's not what you do it for. But I'm forever grateful and forever indebted. And I'm sure that many others share the same sentiment. I thought about wether I should even post this, but I wanted to, so I did.

Ps. petition to bring back the blue cable knit from previous videos.

Thank you Ernst

Saira

Hi Saira, thank you 🙂 my mom knitted that sweater, yes for xmas, and I accidently lost it for a couple of years when i moved here as I put it in a plastic case to protect from the moths and didn't remember putting it there. I found it recently so I and baby blue will ride again in the coming winter.
