I'm currently looking at a chart and I would like to predict what kind of parent this person will be.
These are the factors I'm considering:
In the Rasi chart
Moon for capacity to nurture
Mars for capacity to discipline (both Jaimini karakas for the mother)
Sun for modeling consistency and steadfastness (Jaimini karaka for father)
4th house for how their parent modelled receptive/nurturing parenting
9th house for how their parent modelled what the right thing to do is (faith, spirituality)
10th house for how their parent modelled taking material actions and were as an authority figure
In the saptamsa
Jupiter
5th house
9th house
+ their lords, padas, these houses from Jupiter
Putrakaraka
to read the child and the parent's relationship with their children
In the Dvadasamsa
Ketu/Rahu
12th/11th
+ their lords, padas, these houses from Ra/Ke
to read their ancestral karmas
Is there anything else you would add?
