Another astrologer, Shri Sarajit Poddar, has come out with a book "The Strengths and Bhava Analysis" in his series of books "In search of Jyotish: A Journey into the World of Vedic Astrology" (available on Amazon).
In this book, he describes Shadbala very well.
However, the more the merrier, the topic is very vast and complex. So I'm looking forward to Ernst's book as well.
