Namaste Ernst and All,

in jaimini book and course there is a sutra than speaks about deity for moksha (12h from ATmakaraka in D24 or D9 or D1) and deity for Material-Life problem( 6th from Amaatyakaraka in D30 or D9 or D1).

When the house is void (also for all varga), what needs to be considered?

is there a priority for analyze varga? ex D24 is plus of D9 than plus of D1

tks

From memory I'm recalling that when the Rasi has no planets in it than one looks to the rasis it aspects for planets and then use the strongest one from the technique on judging strengths.  I recall D9 being given highest priority, than D24/D30 than D1

@mitryendra80 that is what I meant to convey in my response.  Bhima had set up the scene that there are no planets in the 12th from AK or 6th from AmK in all three vargas so then as you say, the planets that rasi aspect those places can also be expressed as the rasis those places aspect, the planets therein, use the strongest one.

I am reading with more attention the book and at page 105 there are:

vargas: the navamasa and rasi are both important with the most important Varga being the Siddhamsa, ore 24th Vargas

vargas: the navamasa and rasi are both important with the most important Varga being the Trimsamsa, ore 30th Vargas

and so first 24/30 and so on(D9 D1)

tks

There is also a tradition of finding a "Dharma devata" deity related to the 9th from AK in the D9, but this may just have been something from Sanjay Rath or his "lineage".

Some people try to find deities in the D20 as well, but I don't think this is supported in mainstream texts. They even use it to find the Gramma or local village deity and do pilgrimages and propitiations to it when there are "curses" to the 4th house in the rashi.

Interesting.

S.
