Hi Ernst and/or community.
I have a friend with an interesting chart. In the middle of the supposed hour for her birth, Mercury changes rasi, and that would make it her AK.
She´s a painter and conservator-restorer. What factors should I consider for the latter profession? She works with old manuscripts, pergaments, handwritten books etc. Mercury for skills I guess. 3rd house I suppose. What more would you consider? 9th house for history and knowledge? She works for institutions; should they someway be manifested in the charge?
If Mercury is not her AK, then it´s Jupiter. But I guess we do need Mercury for this, don`t we?
Best regards
Mattias
Hi Mattias,
my father is a conservator/resaturator of arts, he does paintings, wood, stone, paper and buildings. He mostly works on buildings like altars, churches or entire buildings.
His AtmaK is Mercury and AmatyaK is Mars!
He also is into politics in an advisor position on regional level.Saturn in Leo !
I can send you the chart for comparison, I do not know his lagna though!
Jupiter represents books, Mercury skills (but, when it comes to objects, it's more a container). So, either way you look at it, a piece is fitting. I can't believe Jaimini didn't think of that one! ????
I'm also wondering why you ask the question. Is it because the person wants to know if she's on the right path? Or is having issues at work? Or, are you rectifying birth time?
Here are the charts. The time given is 18.30-19, but then she said 18-18.30, so it´s really uncertain. 19.11 the Lagna changes. But Virgo lagna seems probable.
18.48 her AK changes from Mercury to Jupiter. But a Sun in GF may be a career indicator anyway, especially since the possible AK:s (Mercury or Jupiter) are either DB or in an enemy sign. So only the cusp will answer the question - maybe.
Alex - Venus is there in any case. That goes with painting as well as refurbishing.
Interesting to look at her CoT spread. 5 of Hearts - the struggling artist - as a Mercury card; her Ascendent and 10th cusp seems to fall there; her Jupiter and Venus in 9H Saturn card, and yes, her painting is about people, she paints native americans in an impressionistic way. Two interesting Aces for newness and refurbishing; her Sun and Moon card, the Sun card very much vibrating with her Mercury card. (AH/5H)

Hard to say, I´ve met her but don´t quite remember. But yes, for being a woman I think you could say that she´s squarish. Dimples I can ask about. ????
I really like the idea of Mercury being conjunct Jupiter and Venus, and also becoming the AK; the spread really opens up like a fan then. But it doesn´t prove anything.
