after you click on ok, did it let you click on the checkboxes for the house cusps?

Yes it did. I managed to get the house cusps. But not the pads to the rashi chart the way you demonstrated.  See attached. 

In the chart and screen options is an option o nthe lower right to select, Show Padas as Rasis.
