Hi Ernst,

In the attached image the Moon is Scorpio but its dignity is Enemy, I thought it would be DB. How is that possible?

Parashara puts Moon in DB only in the first 3 degrees of Scorpio I think

Thanks Mirela.

How about this one. How come Jupiter is in GE. Isn't he a temp friend with Venus?

@radharamana I think Jupiter should be in Neutral dignity in this chart IF it was D1 that we looked at. For divisional charts like this Saptamsa, the temporary planetary relationships applied are from D1. The natural relationships are taken into consideration, but the temporary ones are taken from D1, causing the dignity in D7 to appear to be different than expected.

In this chart, in the Rasi Chart, Venus is most likely in a temporary enemy position from Jupiter (same sign or 5 thru 9th position from it). That translated a Jupiter in Taurus in Saptamsa to be in Enemy Natural+ Enemy Temporary= GE, even if Venus is in what appears to be a friend zone in D7.

It's the same for the Moon and Saturn in the chart, for which the final dignity doesn't seem to add up in Saptamsa at first sight.

Thanks,

Mirela
