Hello Ernst,

How do I check if any software update is available for the installed kala 2018?

How do I check the version number for the installed software as well (as in, which update of Kala 2018 I have installed)?

We dont have a version number that we publish, the way to check is to download from www.vedic-astrology.net/Kala2018.zip if it installs, you did not have the latest version, if it does not install, you have that one already.

So if the only two options presented while installation are:

Repair 

Remove

then one can assume that the latest version has already been installed?

best to uninstall the old version, then reinstall the new.
