Hi guys, in my D10, my Mercury is in Sag in the 11th house with an opposition to Neptune in Gemini in the 5th house.

Sure enough I cannot concentrate for the life of me at work.  I operate in a fog all day, I skim over stuff and don't actually understand what I'm reading, I check my phone constantly and tell myself I work better when there's a YouTube video going on in the background (I don't).  I need help because it's affecting my productivity.

For a remedy, do I strengthen Neptune, like drink more water, or do I strengthen Mercury, like eat more greens?  What else do I look at?  I don't feel like either one on its own will be enough.

Out of astrological reasons - I would think it’s lack of true interest on what you’re doing- and I’ve heard Omega supplementation helps w those issues, and if you can not change work try to find meaning and usefulness on what you do

Yes well I came to delete that post lol.  I was so out of it yesterday, I could barely get that written.  I think sometimes sugar clouds my brain, and a couple days ago I had a whole Cadbury bar.  Plus, I was just getting over food poisoning.  Also the moon seems to affect me when it's a half moon.  But yes thanks for the Omega suggestion.  I have some of those, I'll start taking them again.

PS yeah my job is kind of meaningful.  It'll get there, I just started 6 months ago.

Has it always been like that at work? I know that for me, if I would eat something with sugar in it, or any kind of simple carbohydrate, it would bog my brain right down, and I wouldn't be able to focus or function properly for hours afterwards at work... it would kind of put me in a daze. It also can have a cumulative effect.

It might be helpful to steer clear of sugar or simple carbs for a bit and increase your fat and protein intake to see if that helps. Our brain still needs glucose to function, but that is what gluconeogenesis is for, which is our bodies way of producing a steady and adaptive amount of sugar from the protein we eat. We don't have to be 100% dry of sugar though, If you are going to have a sugary or simple carbohydrate treat, the best time is after exercise, as it changes the mechanism of glucose transport, making it more efficient and balanced. But even after exercise if you have it too often, then insulin resistance becomes an issue that can take some time to reverse. Your body will always tell you.

If you find even if you are sugar free, and have ample fats and protein that you are still bogged down, or if you want to speed up the process, then supplementing with a dopamine precursor amino acid L-Phenylalanine might be helpful for your focus and brain attention energy power.
