Hello everyone, I getting a different vimshutary dating when I enter the data into the software on my computer and when I upload the map to the website, any idea why this is happening? . All the details are the same. This happened to me also before and after the upgrade to the 2018 software.
On the site's map I am in the Antar Dasha of the Sun, (Ra/Su)while in my software I am in the Antar Dasha of the Moon which comes right after.
Check what your using for ayanamsa, if they are not the same the dasha timing will be slightly different. If you don't know which one is being used by the site, click though the ayanamsa options on kala until you get a match with the site.
Thanks for the response. I'm still looking for something that will fit and there are so many. Isn't there one that is recommended by the software? According to the installation process, I use the recommendation.Unfortunately I don't know enough on thos topic.
Are you referring to vaultoftheheaveans.com as the "site"?
The search function on this forum is quite helpful. Searching "vaultoftheheavens and ayanamsa" turned up this quote from Ernst in a previous thread
"THe ayanamsa used on vaultoftheheavens puts the galacitc center in the middle of Mula nakshatra."
So if VOH is the site you are talking about, try that one on Kala
