Hi Ernst,

I am analyzing D-40 and would like your help to see if I am on the right track. Attached please find the D-40 for your review. I am looking at the chart in the general terms of auspicious vs inauspicious for various Dasas. For Saturn Dasa, which this person is current in, my analysis would be the things happen in his life are very good since Saturn is aspected by its Lord Mercury and by Jupiter, a manifestor. Saturn joins the 4th cusp which is the main House for D-40 so there is a connection there. After Saturn Dasa we have Mercury Dasa and things are still very good because Mercury is aspected by its Lord Jupiter which is good. Mercury is also aspected by Saturn. But Mercury is Saturn Lord and Mercury is aspecting its house so Saturn should not cause problem/separation

After Mercury is Ketu. Ketu joins exalted Sun and Rahu. Rahu will not cause problems because it is with the exalted Sun. Ketu is also in the 4th House from Ascendant, an angle. Ketu is aspected by the Moon, Mars and Venus in the 8th House from the Ascendant. Moon is the key planet here and it is in the 8th House. We also have a 4/8 PV yoga here between the Sun and Mars. That is a misery yoga. So even the Sun is aspecting its own house and Mars is also apecting its own sign, and the Sun is exalted, my opinion would be Ketu Dasa will not be very auspicious for this guy because of the 8th House and the misery yoga.

For Venus and Mars Dasa my analysis would be the same as Ketu Dasa. Any comments you have would be greatly appreciated!
