When you say the 8th house is a dangerous place I can't help but think about the experience of death, yet the more I meditate on this house meaning the more I'm open to it, all the little nuance men do to experience death. Also it's hard to stay neutral about this feeling of the 8. It's like the "b" you said come out from time to time and there is a joy from touching it, yet then it's gone. And we try attach our self to that joy, but that joy is only fleeting.

In one of your other course you have hesitated to talk about suicide, about whether we can say it's right or wrong. The Japanese culture seems closer to this feeling. From a logical standpoint one would say they have earthquake so they get used to that feeling. Yet they attract death still in their world more often than any other country, it's almost like they live in another reality. So that hidden mystery, that secret, maybe it's just impossible to see on purpose, it's normal to fear death yet we can still be peaceful about it. As astrologers aren't we biased and "erroneously" we overdo it? I keep thinking about the way Christians say it's forbidden knowledge, they overdo it in the other direction it seems, they over fear so much, what they see it as a secret for only God to see. What they fear is actually common knowledge to everyone else if we look around, only them don't see it. I tend to agree more and more that without proper meditation and a peaceful mind, a thing that is impossible to objectively judge is required for the advanced astrology course. That Saturn blocks the 8th, as the 7 is death.

I feel like you over simplify the 7th house, there is something missing here. When you say the 8th is dangerous, isn't the 7th as dangerous? Aren't you a bit over confident about the 7th, I always felt like it turn up in your voice tone, which seems normal with that rahu you have there. I feel like you are missing something here. Isn't the 7th the mirror of our soul? You say relationship is the hardest thing? So isn't the 7th the hardest one, and we complete the 7th, the 8th clear itself, just like you explained in the Card of Truth course?

You say it's a simple course, I agree it is, but I would say the more simple it is the more that hidden 8 meaning comes out, it's a double edge sword, your Rahu course was simple, but the emotion turmoil for sure wasn't, but it felt great for that reason. That simplicity made it easier to see that 8th joy and also feel the fear, and the adrenaline from it. Aren't we doing the same thing as playing with death, just like a child playing with fire or is that the child like attitude saints have?

In the book "I'm ok, you are not okay", if  we feel like an exalted Sun without restriction, we would be really over confident compared to others, just like in the Avatar story. I wonder if those Avatars story aren't all story of Rahu conjunct the Graha. Rama with an Axe story seems over the top crazy if we would pretend it's possible. Rahu the 8th Graha, aren't those story over contrasted on purpose to represent death?

Let's say astrology becomes accepted in our culture as it becomes more simple to grasp, wouldn't we see people abuse it? Actually aren't we abusing it already? Our thirst for knowledge ? Or am I just playing the "Parent" role here?

I just saw part of the 16 video on our parent being our previous life time on earth. If I may add maybe our teacher that we listen to or read are also our previous lifetime parents or maybe teacher. That's why in one of your course you said you already knows what the teacher is about to say, self knowledge. The more I'm listening to your course the more I feel like I'm listening to my father, or a spiritual father of the 9th house.

I almost finished reading the first you book you recommended, each time I was reading it I thought wow I was just thinking about that today. I totally agree with what you said in that video. Can I make a suggestion? Could you add some silence or pause in your video, like some kind of meditation in-between chapters, not to make it spiritually eccentric but so we can use our brain more just like we read the Graha sutra book. Reading bring more memory but  video are easier to do. But what if you could make it more like a book where our consciousness interact more with the material.

They have no impact other than indicating what things are up for deep change.

Hi @ernst and friends,

I have found 'Homecoming: Reclaiming your wounded inner child' book by John Bradshaw to be very helpful over the past few years

It talks about toxic shame, developmental needs of the child at different stages - infant(0-1), toddler(1-3 yrs), pre-school etc. and how not getting those needs met leads to us being cut off from our authentic selves.

It also talks about dysfunctions that result for each stages, which can be seen astrologically as bad Lajjitaadi Avasthas in our charts.

And then finally how to reparent, reclaim and heal our wounded inner child through interesting activities, affirmations & meditations

I second this book as the book to read after 'Babies need mothers'. Absolutely wonderful. I also like the fact that the author has gone through and ended up facing and healing his own wounds, and they are not just intellectual words.

The outer planets indicate the planets where greater transformations will occur.
