Hi! I have a question related to Saturn retrograding in a house in the context of PAC, after watching video 83.

Saturn is now retrograde in Aries, so everyone on the planet will end a karmic cycle of their Child mind Mars as ruler of Aries. How are you all doing these days? 🙃

In my case it's in my 5th house, so for me it will be related to children, creativity etc. I feel it a lot related to my 6 year old, as we are 3 months away from home in Prague and we are all having a difficult time adapting, but especially him.

I am wondering what does retrograde add to this transit?

Related to fasting, would that mean to be less strict related to children? Also stop fixing what should be thrown away because Mars is starving Saturn (like over discipline or many efforts to "fix" child's struggles, related to 5th house)?

I had a lucid dream yesterday that I mentioned in another post; in that I saw myself in two forms, both a caring father and a child recieving care and teaching. Maybe related to this, sounds like it could be, in some way. Saturn is DB in Aries and the lord of the 9th, and yes it´s my PK too.

I wonder about what you say about fasting related to children. Are your children fasting?

Interesting dream! Nice thing that you remember them 🙂 What house is Saturn transiting in your chart, Staffan?

I am referring to the metaphorical fasting, like choosing to hold back from a bad action that is hurting you...guess I just answered my question 🙂

But main question was related to the retrograde phase and how to interpret it.

@shugara2002

When a planet is retrograde it is the closest it can be to earth, and therefore it affects earth and everyone more powerfully.

This is the extent of the interpretation of retrogradation. Ernst has said that, for example, all the stuff about Mercury retrograde isn't really accurate. Mercury retrograde just means Mercury is more powerful.

So if you have a strong and powerful Saturn, then retrograde Saturn can be helpful because it gives Saturn more power. If Saturn is causing problems in your chart, then retrograde Saturn, being more powerful, can cause you more problems during that time.

@j0sh4rp3 thank you! I have a Saturn Mars conjunction unfortunately, so I have a huge motivation to work through it and improve
