Does anyone else notice that the majority of wounds happen more so on one side of the body? Almost all of my wounds are on the right side. Elbow spur, rotator cuff tear, damaged knee, damaged hip, clogged sinus, all on my right side of my body...    Even the left side of the face is the good looking side, I know which side to take for a selfie, lol.

I am wanting to heal these injuries and improve myself. I am guessing that the right side of the body represents masculinity. What kinds of things can I do on an inner level in order to improve the outer wounding that happens on the right side of my body?

Right side of the body is actions, left side is what we are open to. Varahamihira says that blows on the right for men show inauspicious future events, blows on the left, auspiscious. For women, blows on the left show inauspicious future events and right are auspiscious.

The idea is that as a man's success is more dependent on his active masculine side, if he gets hurts on the right it shows that he is involving himself in actions that are not going to lead him to his best destiny and so he gets smashed off that track with an injury and if he continues he will have a lot of trouble in the future. If he gets hurt on the left it means he has burnt some setbacks off and now the way is more clear for good things to come into his life that he can move forward with.

For a woman, injuries on the left show that she is open to stuff that will hurt her and as a result, her future will suffer. Injuries on the right shut her down from doing things that will lead her off track and so injuries on the right indicate a better future time to come.

You can read about this in Brihat Samhita.

@ernst   Ah okay, I can make sense of that. The actions that lead to those injuries are incongruent with my inspiration. Gotcha, thanks dude.
