Hi Ernst,
Loved the series about Love on YouTube.
Would ‘Trauma Bonding’ fall under the ‘tough love’ category? That form of love is essentially formed due to the brain not being able to break out from a pattern, and hence any known reality, however painful, is better than an unknown one, because forming a new pattern seems harder than dealing with the pain that we are already used to.

I was thinking more in terms of something like Stockholm syndrome. I guess in that case not having the abuser around becomes the tough love part of the equation?
