Compensation mode

A woman close to me has a Moon/Rahu conjunction in her Lagna. She´s very controlled, very much in top of herself, you would never guess that she has doubts about her identity or path. As I see it she´s in a complete compensation mode, where being on top of herself means everything - she manifests her consternation in a complete mirrored way. 

Any thoughts about this? I guess this is a frequent phenomenon; "in the calmest waters..."?

In the CoT system she´s a King of Spades, so from that perspective it´s in her nature to be very much in top of herself.

This is not only about Rahu & Ketu, of course, but also about the Lajjitaadi avasthas.
