Hello fellow astrologers. I was wondering how Rahu is like Saturn when Rahu is so filled with desire? All comments are appreciated. thanks!
I think more than Rahu being like Saturn, its more about Rahu giving results like Saturn. Their modalities of influence are very different, Saturn bringing pain and non fulfillment of desires, while Rahu causing confusion and unexpected events.
But both tend to create separation from the things they influence and point towards possible psychological issues of importance.
@ernst Does this mean than, for example, Rahu in Aries gives the results of a debilitated Saturn?
I remember Ernst saying in some Rahu/Ketu class that he doesn't consider the Nodes to have any particular dignity in any signs because they are not embodied. He says to look at the condition of Saturn, the lord of Rahu, and of any planets conjunct it instead to judge Rahu in any given birth chart.
On the course "Healing Rahu and Ketu", the last video on residences, I did not get what a Rahu in Virgo person have to learn! As I understood, they need to learn to MAINTAIN THEIR PURITY (go to the mountains - Virgo) by trying to do good things and focusing on things that are pure/right. But, I don't get what that exactly means! What do these people have to learn?
Can someone clarify that further, possibly with an example? Thank you so much!
