I've been really struck by Ernst's work on planetary maturations and have been contemplating this in my own life.

I'm wondering if anyone can speak to going through a dasha before a graha has matured?

My Rahu dasha was ages 3-21, yet Rahu doesn't mature until 42.  Would this potentially put me more in touch with my Rahu jungle energy earlier in life since I have already spent 18 years in it? Or did that simply make my rahu dasha more immature/ weak/ since it was before 42? Can anyone speak to this? (My Rahu is in Leo in the 12th house.  It is maturing this year!  My sun is already a bit weak, but I can see both Leo and the sun's influence on my life through these ages.) Hmmm...

Am I mixing concepts that aren't meant to be combined? Anyone have any thoughts or comments?

You see the dignity and lajjitadi avastha of rahu's lord. That will be one of the important factors to see how good or bad the rahu jungle is.

Rahu is always immature and weak no matter what as it shows the next level that needs to be conquered for the which person is not having sufficient awareness.

Rahu in Leo means building personal self esteem and finding fulfillment from that. Basking in self power like a lion ! In 12th house areas like meditation, contemplation, research etc... if not developed, then eventually can cause lot of exhaustion and forced to rest in hospital or bed...

@amit Thanks Amit!I have been through the Healing Rahu and Ketu material, but it was great to hear your interpretation of those signs and houses. Much appreciated.

I'm still curious what happens when you go through a dasha of a planet that hasn't yet matured.  But perhaps that belongs in another part of this forum?

In case of rahu dasha landing earlier before its maturation, I think it's more difficult than other planets. It can bring more psychological complexes due to experiencing lack in areas rahu is affecting. So the person can behave in quite immature ways or make immature decisions in life which they don't know where they will lead them. Unless the avasthas of its lord are good and there are manifesting factors on it, it can be very stressful period.

Hi Blossomb

I am usually not that active in the group , but I just stumbled upon your post while I was searching for something else 🙂 .  I also had my rahu dasha before its maturation age which  just got matured last year . I will try to be sort and see if I can answer your question.

"this potentially put me more in touch with my Rahu jungle energy earlier in life since I have already spent 18 years in it?"

yes but since you already familiar with the area of the jungle, prob this time  you will experience more consciousness and you will be more aware of Rahu energy (since you know astrology 🙂 )   which is nothing but the falsehoodness  of Rahu in 12th but the real question should be will you be able to conquer the false idea of 12th ? depends on  how good is your Sun and its lagitaadi avastha is  where it is placed in your chart . generally speaking,  Leo is  very territorial and fixed  and rahu there  can quickly give you false ego centeredness about your true inspirations and all 12th house related matters, think about it 🙂  how you handle it when you were in your 13 -21 ? see the same jungle with matured lence of Rahu now... more matured falsehood haa ? ha ha , rahu is difficult to catch and understand and more you try to solve it more it will surprise you  with unexpected 12th house events

Wish you a very Happy 42

God bless

Regards

Yogesh

Thank you so much @yogesh-lohra!

"Will I be able to conquer my false ideas of the 12th?"  That is a very helpful sentence that I need to sit with.

My sun is my weakest planet in shad bala, and has some intense avashtas, and the 12th house is my weakest house.  3-21 my sun/leo period I was pretty self involved and did have a pretty grand view of myself.  Life has certainly tempered that, but I'm quite curious to see what comes back around.

I'm also in my Saturn dasha and living on top of my Saturn line.  Saturn is by far my strongest planet, and the 6th house is my strongest house.  There are so many moving parts!

I'm trying not to jump to conclusions.  There is more in these maps than my mind can figure out and I know it will all unfold as it is meant to.  I would just like to bring as much awareness and surrender to the process as possible.

I appreciate your time and your thoughtful reply.

Journey on!

Blossom
