Hi @ernst and friends,

Sometimes I have doubts around how to combine house and rasi in the right way, during Rahu-Ketu counseling. I understand that House is the area of life and Rasi is what we need to master. But there are certain house-rasi combinations where I struggle with. For example, I would like to learn from you all how you would counsel for the following combinations -

Rahu in 4th, Virgo
My take - One needs to develop how to manage and regulate their emotions, their inner world.

Rahu in 4th, Libra
My take - One needs to release and let go of their negative emotions so that better emotions can fill its place. Alternatively, one needs to share their emotions with other people. Or have healthy conversations where emotions are felt and shared.

Would love to hear any tips or approaches that have worked for you in your practice.

Rahu in 4th is more than anything else about finding one´s true emotion, as I see it. I remember this female friend with Rahu in the 4th who was a yoga instructor and had been yoga for 20 years.  She said that she recently had come to realize that she didn´t even like yoga.

That, and overcoming a feeling of unease, which makes it easier to go to the outer world and the 10th house, trying to achieving things. Overcompensation, going to the masculine in stead of bonding with oneself. Much as, if you allow me to say it, modern feminism do today, or should I rather say all society: Being active and productive as a strategy for to not be "at home".

So that´s the 4th house, and as you say, it´s what we are here to master in a more let´s say practical, hands-on way. Something that we could bring to speak about in therapy, perhaps.

The Rasi, as I see it, is more like a mystic undercurrent. It goes deeper. If the house is something that you can deal with in daylight, the Rasi in which you find Rahu or Ketu would be more like a night-theme, something that you may see in dreams, or get a glimps of in transe. Again: It´s my understanding, nothing that I´ve heard Ernst or anyone else say.

Virgo is about care, about recognizing that things matter. Your choices metters. It´s a small brush. Ketu in Pisces wants to gloss it over with it´s much bigger brush. In the end it´s all the same, it says. Which is also correct, of course. But Virgo says: Respect the process, respect the small steps. First learn, then unlearn. Don´t rush to the end, to the sea in which the differences are eresed, everything bleeds into everything and nothing matters.

Libra: Patience and tolerance.

In one of the Rahuketu course Ernst said something like, the rashi is the why and the house is the how.

So the rashi is the actual lesson the persons is needing to learn and the house is the pathway through which they learn it.

So Rahu in Virgo needs to learn how to Virgo healthily, and they do so primarily through their relationship to their emotions and their ideas of happiness.

Start with the house, this is the area that needs to be developed. The exploratory realm is their emotional life. This is the area that they need to make work, meaning, that their feelings are a place they can go to and get benefit from.

To do this requires that they do virgo. That the learn that everything is not okay, they have to choose what is healthy and good for them. They have to discriminate, and realize that what they are around will heave real consequences on their emotional wellbeing and happiness.
