Hi Ernst,

You teach in your transits course transits that tend to give things to people (except for health related matters). When looking for trigger transits that take away things, should we look at separating factors (Sa and Ra) plus the 12th and 8th lords influences karakas/bhava lords ect.? Also, instead of trines to planets, would we look at square aspects?

Thanks,

Scott

in transit, sun and saturn and 12th lord can cause loss. 8th lord can disrupt. Planetary aspects can trigger this and also unfriently tajika aspects. 8th and 12th lords from the bahva can also trigger this.

@ernst hi Ernst, Thankyou for the response . So I am assuming that the technique remains same . Broad activation with sun, Saturn and 12th lord and then trigger transits - replacing Jupiter by sun/saturn/12th lord. Also for Libra and Cancer asc Mercury becomes 12th lord, so in that case mercury becomes both manifesting and take away factors ?

Saturn in his planetary aspect is very capable of taking away, as is the 12th and 8th lords. so I actually use the same types of aspects: trines, planetary and rasi. I have not found squares to replace trines in this, so I do not use tajika aspects for this.

Saturn in his third aspect I find is probably the strongest ender. I think the reason for this is hte third is our effort, and this aspect can make a person stop making an effort. Many things we hang onto, keep making an effort when its time is past and so it really ends when we stop making an effort. Things that have not been working a long time tend to end by this aspect.

@ernst

That is interesting. I have always thought of tajika square aspects to be difficult, but you are saying that squares to 'take away'?
