Are saham lord aspecting the lagna or lagna lord substitute for each other?

Because in the rules it says saham lord should be aspecing the lagna but u don't seem to pay any attention to that u instead pay to lagna lord being connected in a degree orb yoga to the saham lord so are they interchangable to each other?

Yes, i look for saham lords and lagna lord to be in  yoga so that I can try to predict when the event will take place with the dasa. But  yes, look at saham lord aspecting lagna too.
