Hi everybody,

Could anyone direct me towards the original source of the "idiot yoga" (Sun, Moon, Saturn in angles)?

Is it this:

Jala -stupid man- Yoga: Surya, Chandra, and Mangal joined in 1st, 4th,

7th, 10th, 9th or 12th, being devoid of strength.

"One will be a dunce, unimportant, and devoid of any wisdom and wealth.

Having no fixity of mind, one will be subject to mental worries. Stubborn

(in the sense, that he will not accept any good thinking), he will depend on

others for food."

If so, who or what scripture is it from?

That is not the yoga. That is 'just' stupid man yoga...

Ernst would maybe know where that yoga comes from. I assume multiple yoga books would have it. You might find it in a yoga section dealing with addiction.

Thank you! I can only find it programmed into Kala, but can't find the Sanskrit name of the yoga in Kala.

I've seen this yoga in a comedian's chart.

I dont remember the source. most likely its jattaka tattva or sarvartha chintamani, these are the two best yoga books.
