I have a question about the Yoga Muni "hermit". Here the text in "Core Yogas":
Venus with only malefics in the Lagna or a trine, unaspected by benefics, and the said malefics are also in debilitation or inimical amsas.
Ernst explains: If Venus is completely afflicted, marriage life promises only unhappiness. However if Venus is in a good house the native turns to the spiritual life or towards other inspirations.
Two questions:
1. What does it mean inimical amsas?
2. The second question deals with the affliction of Venus. Is it necessary the conjunction with malefics or does it also apply by having solely malefic aspects?
I wonder whether the affliction to Venus being not strong enough makes more difficult for Venus to break through.
