@ernst ,
You teach if a sign is empty in Kalachakra Dasa that we can read the bhava yoga to that sign. If the sign is empty but the lord forms a named yoga/raj yoga can we read that too? It seems appropriate but not as powerful as a yoga forming planet in the mahadasa sign itself.

Would you say that afflicted lajjitaadi avastha planets in the jeeva rasi are more important to address?

No, not at all, the most afflicted is the one that is most important to address. Regardless of whether its in a dhata mula or jeeva rasi, its always people that show us where we are using our planets the most successfully. So even if in a mula rasi, somethign troublesome with people will be the end result.
