Hi Ernst,

If two starry planets in the kendras exchange houses in the kendras, will this be considered two Maha purusha yogas? Say Mangal and Shu are both in each other's houses in a Karka lagna, Mangal in Tula and Shukra in Mesha. Will this lead to a Ruchika Yoga AND a Malavya yoga, since Mangal is effectively in his own house (actually Shukra's Tula) and Shukra is effectively in his own house (actually Mangal's Mesha)?

In your Debilitation Manual, you say: "If the debilitated planet and its lord have exchanged Rasis, the debilitated planet will cause trouble to the house it rules as well as the house it is in, but the other planet will hold things together - if it is in good dignity. The interchange can cause an auspicious Maha Yoga if the interchange is between any of the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 9th, 10th, or 11th houses."

My gut feeling is that two Maha Purusha Yogas will in fact be caused, though not as intense as a true Maha Purusha yoga.

Any opinion?

That is a mahayoga but nothing at all like a mahapurusha yoga. Mahapurusha yogas are only as stated.
