Hi Ernst,
in "Core Yogas" you described 2002 a method to qualify the planets involved in yogas. this method is programmed into kala under "Subha/Asubha-Yogas".
later in the yoga-judgement-course you introduced istha/kastha/shuba/ashuba/Dig.
does this mean the first method is obsolete? or when do you use which method?
best and thank you in advance!

??? ????
the subha/asubha yogas are from Satya Jatakam which is a great book on astrology. Its how its author evaluated a planet. The ishta/subha/dig method is from Brihat Parashara. I like it better for yogas, but the subha/asubha yogas are a good way to examine a planet's wellbeing in genereal as to its ability to readily produce.
Thank you, Scott and Ernst.
So this means, subha-asubha can give an idea about the outcome of dasas?
a friend of mine had a horrible accident while water-skiing, ruptured almost all of the rear muscles in her right thight. She ran Ve (-10) -Ju (-46) -Sa (-71) -Me (-151) -Mo (-58).
When she happily travelled through New Zealand she ran Ve (-10) - Ra (+142) - Ra

Yes, satya jatakam uses these yogas to analyze dasa effects.
