Dear Ernst and everyone,

Is the following a raj yoga with chart attached,

Chart has Ju aspecting with its 9th aspect to Ma in 8th for Leo Asc. To me this is a raj yoga. But Ma and Ju are not mutually aspecting each other. So, is this a raj yoga?

For raja yoga in Leo lagna, Mars, Jupiter and sun either need to be conjunct or directly opposite to each other or they need to be in angles to give some yogas. So Jupiter and mars can't form raj yoga in this chart.

Probably moon can help Sun forming an auspicious yoga as it gives affects based on association and sun is auspicious for Leo lagna.

@amit

Thanks Amit. I was reviewing kenda/kona raj yogas and saw that planets have to be mutually aspecting to create a yoga not just one by aspect. Just wanted to clarify as I was doing that part incorrectly.

Yes, I think Mo and Su form yoga too. Just have to memorize each lagna's yoga forming 'rules'.
