Hello Ernst and all,

I seem to recall a yoga for house burning, and cannot seem to locate it in any notes. I feel like it was on audio course, perhaps yogas of character. Haven't seen it come up under yoga's in kala thus far.  Is it in core yoga's book? I think it's time to buy that one, since I seem to always try to recall them not very well ???? unfortunately.

Thanks,

LT

@scott-m-19 It does seem like more of a Jaimini yoga or maybe snapshooting vimshottari. I just don't recall, so I'm not sure where to look. I did go ahead and grab, core yogas book and just starting to review it.  Glad I got it finally, but don't think it's in there, it really isn't a "core yoga".

Jaimini Padas 1 & 2 Audio #5 Sutra 1.2.27 said if Mars is aspecting the Sun and Rahu in the Svamsa or the Sun and Rahu in Mars sign then your house gets burned down or you yourself like fire. Not necessarily an arsonist but someone who burns things like burning trash, works in the crematory etc..  as a career. But if you have Venus aspecting Sun and Rahu then Venus in aspect keeps your house from burning down because Venus is the water element which protects your house from burning down (Sutra 1.2.28)...

i would guess for a fire fighter career you would need Sun Rahu Mars and Venus in your Svamsa or influencing your Svamsa....Am i right?

@tuyetv That would make sense to me, I'll have to check on a few people. See how it plays out. Research, research, research ????

Well there it is! screen shot attached. House burned down in 1987 via arson running Sa/Ma dasa. Chart is a deceased musician and I was originally trying to pin down a birthtime, since it is only DD rated based on both a PM time and an AM time. So I have resorted to varshapal or predictive transits to attempt to rectify. Leaning in the direction of the 17:00 +/- and I think this confirms. Thanks for the tip!

@ltmoon

So, Sun and Rahu don't need to be conjunct for this? I guess not....

@meyes

Seems straightforward and makes sense. But in 1.2.23b in the book, 'The Sun and Rahu - Snake death."

Seems like Su and Ra need to be together, but maybe just sambhanda does it?

Then, to the Su/Ra:

1.2.26 'Only Ma in aspect - burning the house of or an incendiary.'
