Hi @ernst,

After seeing all this forum activity around Adityas, I finally decided to jump on the Aditya train 🙂 , and just watched the planetary rulership as the first video from the course. I can see how Adityas is an entirely new and different foundation, and the shifts of astrological concepts built on top would be much bigger, perhaps, than what sidereal to tropical transition would have caused.

This reminds me of the March eclipse video where you shared something along the lines that while your move to tropical zodiac was a committed thing, with Adityas it's not a committed thing yet(then). Curious to know that six months later now, what your view about the Adityas is in this regard. I haven't gone through the course videos, except the planetary rulership video, so I apologize if I am asking this question too much in advance or if you have already covered this somewhere in the course already.

When I committed to the tropical in 2007, that meant, I am leaving sidereal behind. I wont read a chart in sidereal. I won't talk about anyone's sidereal chart or answer questions on thier chart if they ask with sidereal positions, and I won't refer someone to an astrologer using sidereal. So that is fully committed.

Partially committed to the Adityas means, I myself, have been using Adityas and plan on continuing to only use adityas when I read a chart. I will talk to someone about their tropical chart, or answer questions about tropical positions. I will keep all the people on the find an astrologer page on my website even if they never even learn adityas.

That is how I stand now. One thing I am working on is building some tools to test the zodiacs on a wider scale with more accuracy than even a team of people could do. Depending on the results of those tests, still a few years away probably, I may change my commitment level.

@ernst Thank you for your response. We are all blessed and fortunate to have a front row seat to see how this evolves.

One question here though - In the end state, do you see the usage of tropical rasis and Adityas as a binary thing - 'either this or that' like today either you read a chart sidereal or in tropical, but not in both? Or do you see it eventually as reading a chart as both tropical rasis AND Aditya? Similar to how one might use both the whole sign house number AND the cusps for different things.
