I spliced between the Scorpion at rise
While He Who Eats the Sun set in the West,
The Tail and Messenger each on my side
With Moon and Marshal both above t'attest.
But lo, the King, approaching next the dawn
Rode chasing down two of his enemies:
The Maiden and Old Man now seem to fawn
In presense of his fire, deaf to pleas.
Alas, my consolation here on earth
Was Guru on the other side of sky:
I took for granted she who gave me birth,
Unable to receive, yet now I cry.
So what's all this? What was I called to say?
And who awaits me that I ought to stay?
