Hi Ernst,

Can you please let us know your views on the tychos model promoted by Simon Shack? They claim it explains many observations not explained by copernican heliocentric system? I am curious because they propose a candidate for the elusive binary twin of the Sun...

Regards,

Anand

I don't think its a sound system.

@ernst

Thanks for your view on this.  For the 24000 year yuga cycle theory we need a binary twin for our Sun, any thoughts on what could this celestial object likely be? Also, where does the tychos model fail in a major way, other than proposing that the earth does not orbit the Sun as we think, but does that break the astronomy model we follow in our astrology?

Its the simple astronomy of how they thing things rotate. Its mathematically proven how everything rotates.

in regards to the precession, if there is a binary, it will no doubt be a very small dark star, aka, black hole. Astronomers claim to have mathematical proven precession to be the result of the pull of the other planets, particularly Jupiter. But they also say there seems to be an apparent oscilating motion of the solar system towards and away from the galactic center as it travels around the galactic center but they have no explanation for this and I do not know to what degree it has been proven to be true. At this point, the most sound proof is with the visible explanation is the pull of the other planets on the earth, but that is refuted by Sri Yuktesvar's statement that the sun has a binary, so time will tell...
