Does anyone have any experience from working with Chiron as an outer planet?

I think Chiron might represent Saturn at a higher level, the same way that Uranus is like the Sun, Neptune the Moon etc.

Any ideas?

I haven't worked with Chiron, but when I was visiting a therapist/healer, she mentioned about Chrion as the wounded healer.

Extremely capable of healing, and prominent Chrion folks can heal others at their own cost even sometimes. So, she suggested focusing on self-care and self-healing as well to heal others.

As an experiment, she asked me to put my hands on my eyes, and it worked to help feel so much better.

@jam1 I have Chiron in the vicinity, degree wise, to five planets, three of them aspecting from angular houses. From the first day that I heard about Chiron I very much identified with him. I also have Pluto in the same degree, so I really believe that I have a deep connection to pain and can heal through it.

I´ve never wanted to become a healer though; due to Neptune in the 6th perhaps, but guiding spirits say it´s my task, so...

And yes, hands are magic. I´ll take an 8 months intensive course in alternative medicine from Mars. I have healing hands, that I know since I was a kid and my elder sister always asked me to rub her feet.

@staffan Good luck with the course!

I mean it makes sense scientifically, Yogananda mentions that the hand raised gesture of deities is no co-incidence, hands are the best conductors of spiritual blessings that can travel through ether. In-fact he compares the tip of the hands to antennas through which you could request for sincere spiritual help.

The healer I worked with told me that everyone has the capacity to heal using their hands. She also mentioned, it's just faster for some people than others because they have practice from previous lifetimes, apparently the Chiron prominent placement shows that. It's just that we forget to use our own abilities to help heal ourselves because it's not a common societal practice.

@jam1 This leads me to wonder: Is there a special indication for hands when it comes to Chiron, or do you speak in generalities.

But of course hands have a lot of healing power, the very first thing we do when we get injured is to put a hand on the place, and the mother strokes the baby´s tummy when it´s screaming.

And mudras, hand gestures: indeed. They are very powerful. That knowledge is also used within the catholic church, not in the best ways many times if you ask me.

I just heard a wonderful thing about Chiron and what it represents. It´s an icy celestian body. When it approach the Sun, the ice evaporates, without converting into liquid water first. Meaning: traumas, frozen emotions get spiritualized. Which is also seen in the duality of the Centaur, being half animal and half a higher being.

@jam1 The funny thing is that you started to speak about the healing power of the hands, without knowing.

@staffan Haha, it just means I was paying attention to what the healer had to say. I was simply stating what I'd learnt from her.

@jam1 Well... There are always reasons. In any case you were chanelling information, I´d say.

@jam1 Also Chiron is Saturn´s son. I didn´t know that. So indeed, I believe that Chiron is an "upgraded" Saturn, the same way that Pluto is an "upgraded" Mars.

I have Chiron right in the middle of 10 house, so everything about that planet just jumps at me when I study astrology in various ways. I don’t see it as wounded healer. He was wounded but it’s not his essence of being. most of all he was a maverick skilled in a lot of things and he was also a teacher. Chiron works best when you apply rules of magi astrology into him (tested it and it just works). First thing I always do when I look at a chart is seeing what tight aspects Chiron recives and I know if someone will have a smoother or hard life.

@omanis OK... Haha, that approach was part of the reason I left Western astrology. Too much chaos, two many asteroids, no  structure. I can´t handle that; my aspergers perhaps. I get dizzy. So I subscribed to Ernst´s very structured and organized teaching.

Nothing wrong with asteroids and outer planets, but I think one need a solid foundation first. At least I do.

And that lines up with Chiron I believe: the horse-part of it speaks about having a solid foundation, as I see it.

@staffan So do you want that pdf (found one) or no, you don't?

@omanis Nah, I skip that. Seems really interesting and fun, but it´s too much of a casino to me. Not my way, not my style. I blame my autism for that. Thank you anyway!
