Hi Ernst,

I can’t remember much mythology about the Earth, but is there much written about the Earth in astrological terms? Even though astrology is about the individuals who live on Earth, the relation to Earth seems to be implicit rather than explicit. And yet, everything seems to be about the Earth and Her relation to the Universe, the Sun and the other planets, which is represented through us individually. Our various relationships seem to represent Her relationships.

I know there are many rituals aimed at Gods, but basically they are to balance out or stabilise our own fluctuations so as to stabilise the Earth itself? We are not completely rooted, and yet we are always connected to the Earth as represented while walking. It seems like we work a lot with the energy flow within the Earth itself, perhaps like little towers that attract energy from the sky and ground it. Maybe that’s why, it’s not about what we do, but about being who we truly are, which we find by incorporating the 10th house or the Ecliptic card? In that case, does the 10 represent the end/beginning, while the remaining 11, 12 and 13 represent the hidden aspects of the new cycle which begins back at 1?

In astrology the most important myths of the earth are actually the nakshtras. The moon moves around the earth and so forms the nakshatras just as the earth forms around the sun and so creates the sun signs. So the nakshtras are the wives of the moon but also deities manifesting through the earth.
