Hello Ernst and everyone,

I have a question about Chapter 10 of the Outer Planets audio course. What is the influence of the outer planet on other grahas if one is at the end of a Rashi and the other at the beginning, but in the 8° range?

Example: If an outer planet is at 1° Capricorn, does it have the influence to a graha at 29° Scorpio? And if so, would it be the same 3rd house influence as a planet at 4° Scorpio would experience?

Thanks for the clarification

Kaspar

For outer planets I look at the degrees, so in this case the planets are 32 degrees apart, so I would see it as a neutral aspect, not as a 3rd secretly friendly aspect. With outer planets, 30 degree aspects are felt, just watch them in transit, and they always have the same feeling I think that outer planets are not secret, open, friend, etc. I think they are just pluto, uranus, or neptune and while conjunctions and squares can lead to more changes, they are all doing the same thing.

OK, thanks for your reply. But be clear, I wasn't referring to outer planets in transit or them causing aspects, but to what they affect in a natal chart.

In chapter 10, you give a list of their influence; for this example, "3rd - Develops skills and strength." My question was more about whether these influences are present across the boundary of a sign - or whether this 8 degree orb only counts within a sign from 0 to 30 degrees.

I hope this description makes my question clear now.

Yes, you can take them across sign boundaries.
