What´s your take on the Parivritti calculations?
Do you see it as an option or as a complement, in some way, to the normal calculation?
Do the two ways of presenting a Varga show the same thing from different angles, or is one downright right and the other wrong?
If you prefer Parivritti, for what vargas?
I have a problem reading the Vargas for which there is a Pv-option because I really don´t know which one is right. What´s your take on it?

Lately I have been experimenting with Parivritti vargas for the D2 and D4 for wealth. It has been showing promise, but I need to do A LOT more research before I would switch officially. I think it is well worth looking into in general. Parivritti is simply another way to mathematically divide the natal horoscope that is 360 degrees. It is not invalid. All the ways to calculate vargas have their mathematical validity. As to how we use them each - that is the real question....Tajika uses the parivritti method.
@ernst can chime in.
With Vargas tehre are three things. There are planetary lords, there are charts, there are deities.
When we look at parivritti, something different happens with aspects. With PV, if planets are joined in the varga, than that means they are in that many parts away in the rasi, so take navamsa, which is always PV. 12 navamsas are 40 degrees. So if planets are joined in the navamsa, that means they are 40 degrees away in the rasi, plus or minus the extent of a navamsa orb. 360, degrees in the zodiac, divided by 9, is 40 degrees.
so to examine conjunctions, we should use PV.
But what shoudl we use for charts and what should we use for planetary lords? What should we use for Jaimini?
I think we need to do more tests on PV for charts and the other methods for Lords and see how that works. Then we can do PV for lords and the other method for charts and see how that work. so its not about doing it one way, we need both ways.
Tajika only uses PV, however, Tajika only takes the lords, it does not take the charts. So maybe its PV we should do for lords, BUT, it works so well for conjunctions, I think maybe we should consider for charts.
