Hi Ernst and all,

I am currently taking the Positional Transit course and I have a question about the influence of planets transiting houses.

First of all, the transit is considered through the Rashi with the cusp in it - not the Rashi counted from the Ascendant. For example, if Saturn transits through the 10th Rashi from the 1st house, but the 10th cusp is in either the 9th or 11th Rashi from the 1st house, will it not significantly affect the career during that time?

My second question is how to measure whether a transit has good or bad effects. For that, we look at the dignity of the planet in the birth chart to qualify that, right? Or is the dignity it has in the transiting Rashi also taken into consideration, or whether the planet would be sleeping in that Rashi?

Thanks for the clarification

Kaspar

YEs, most of the course is the cusp rasi. if not, I think I clarify it with examples.

@ernst OK, thank you.

As a follow up question; can we combine this technique, looking at Karakas transiting their significant houses, with Asthakavarga Point to qualify the transit - or do these techniques not go together?
