Hi All,
Silly simple question:
What is the ultimate expression and kingdom of the Self, the Sun: The place where Sun is stationed (sign, house) obviously, but what about its sign Leo in a natal chart- is it just a "secondary kingdom" in a persons life?
And if yes-what does that mean exactly- a kingdom is a kingdom- is there less important kingdoms?
Can we say more on the role of Suns sign in regards to the Sun itself (Of course only in case where the Sun is not placed in its own sign)?
Thank you!
This questions reminds me of the video "Reading Rasis as per their Lords", #5 in the New Rasi Sutras. Ernst says that the state of Leo affects the kind and quality of kingdom a person can build regardless of the Sun's placement, because the Sun's consciousness is always flowing through Leo. As I understand it, both the Sun and Leo together must be considered when looking at how a well a person can build their kingdom. Maybe something like: the placement of the Sun shows what kind of kingdom a person wants to build, and the state of Leo shows their capacity to build that kingdom.
The way I see it is Leo is always one’s kingdom. The king (Sun) may be elsewhere but he will bring the foundation of the house Leo is in with him.
I’m a Gemini lagna so I have strength and courage to overcome problems by learning a bit about them. Geminis are quite good at figuring things out on a basic level. My king is awkwardly in the 7th house (Sag) so I bring that foundation with me in dealing with people and my relationship. One way you might see this is I naturally want to fix problems in relationship instead of using Venus or Saturn. Or I may even sacrifice the relationship when it’s not my idea of perfection (say a problem can’t be fixed or I’m not in charge for 2 seconds ). It is very different from Saturn’s way of letting go or accepting that relationship is never perfect.
