Hi @ernst and everyone,

How does the Joker card work in the context of birth spreads? When I pulled a spread with the Cards of Truth software, it came up as an Ace of Hearts.

Does someone born on December 31st, after sunrise, have the Joker as their birth card? If so, what are the characteristics of the Joker as a birth card?

I think the Destiny Cards tradition considers it a Joker. Ernst doesn´t.

I once knew a December 31st woman, I found her to be a lot like a King of Spades; she was said to have been born close to midnight (January 1st).

@meyes Thanks for sharing. I don't know any Dec 31st babies, but I've experienced something similar with my birth card. I was born about 2 hours before sunrise and sometimes I feel like a meld between two birth cards.

Although, it could also just be because of it's influence to my Ketu card (2 of Diamonds w/ Ace of Diamonds Ketu card)

@kam Yep, could as well be your Ketu casting a shadow I guess. Also there is a natural similarity between one and two, don´t you think? Like "finding new stuff" and "finding new inner stuff", kind of. Sometimes blend into each other naturally I´d say.

@meyes Yes definitely. I had a bit of an epiphany about it today. I have to stop trying to reinvent myself (Ace of Diamonds Ketu) and just work on feeling better about what I have and expanding on that (Ace of Hearts Rahu).

THe Joker was invented in the 1860 or 1880s, can't remember which. There was never a sign of a joker before then other than the FOol in the Tarot card. The joker is assigned to the last day of the year by most card readers and its a card you can't read. basically they say, you can't make predictions for the people born on that day as they break all the rules of the cards. I don't buy that idea and just extended the ace of hearts to cover two days.
