I´m looking through the CoT videos again and find many things I haven´t put so close attention to. One of them is about what happens when we see a connection (sharing card, the lords sharing card etc)
between the lagna (ascendent) and the tenth cusp. That makes the outer path more prominent (not necessarily in a good way though; it may also be more troublesome and harder) since what we innately are (the lagna) lines up with our duties (tenth cusp).

In my case the ascendent falls in the Mercury card, 7 of Diamonds. The tenth cusp falls in the Saturn card, 9 of Clubs. So seven creates a number relation between the card and the planet. And indeed: I have spent over 20 years as a crossword writer, a hermit profession, as you would expect from 9 of Clubs. There is a Mercury quality to it of course. And getting this job was literally like buying a winning lottery ticket, things showed up and came together in a magical way, like life wanting me to have it. That is the "other" aspect of 7 of Diamonds, "the millionaire´s card": it often fails in the material world, but once in a while it gives a huge bonus. (I also have my AK Moon in the Mercury card).

I don´t know if this is interesting for anyone, but since I had missed that technique myself I wanted to remind you about it.

These, btw, are the possible connections that Ernst mentions:

1. Both cusps in the same card

2. Both in the same number, for example two different threes.

3. Both in the same suit; if they are following each other numerological wise, like a four follows a three, they tend to fuel each other.

4. Card number/planet number (like in my example above)

5. Lords sharing card
