I was thinking to buy a playing card deck and a Major Arcana deck seperatly.

Can I still do all spreads then? Or is it required by some spreads to mix te playing cards + Arcana cards when shuffling?

@wix As a tarot card person, I would not recommend to mix and match. First, card sizes and feel will likely be very different, second, each system is rich in its own right and offer a gazillion combinations that multiple lifetimes won't be able to cover. Also, I never read in reverse and most professional tarot readers don't for a few logical reasons. If you really want to do reverse meaning, it is suggested to really master the upright meaning before tackling reverse. When it come to buying a deck, you can look for the famous Tarot de Marseille on Amazon or check out Etsy where there's a lot of other options.

Its upto you and how you want to do it. I like to have one deck that has major arcana in it so i can caste with both the standard 52 adn the majors. Then I have a separate set of majors and a separate set of playing cards.
