Lately three of Diamonds has come up in a couple of spread in a way that I think is interesting and want to share with the forum.

In both readings, to me, the meaning was: "Searching for God." "Spiritual path, spiritual development."

Why? Well, since 3x3 is 9, in this case 9 of Diamonds, the ultimate reality, the ultimate value = finding God.

I don´t know if Ernst speaks about 3 of Diamonds in this way; just that it has the potential to be psychic, intuitive and connected (to energy in different forms). But "spiritual growth" per se - I don´t know? But of course it´s sibling 3 of Hearts has the potential to indicate "devotion", so it´s more or less the same. Just another flavour. I found it interesting though.

Any thoughts?

Did you mean that the diamonds in general have potential for psychic skills (which is how I understand it) or the 3 of diamonds in particular?  Which video or resource did he say 3 of hearts could be devotion?

I think it might help if you explain more about the reading/spread that contained the search for god 3 diamond.  Then maybe people could respond with more insight.

Especially 9D that often is an indication of psychic ability, and with that King of Diamonds of course. But 3D is a powerful antenna for psychic ability though, but maybe in a more energy sensitive meaning, like having a knack for photography, fashion, reiki healing or feng shui. Donald Trump is a 3 of Diamond and so was the late DJ Avicii; both masters on manipulating crowds and their energy level.

I don´t quite remember the spread now, but I´m rather confident about my conclusion, that it was correct: 3 is working on finding 9, 9 represents God and 3x3 is 9.

6 of Diamonds can also have some intuition to it it seems, and 7 of Diamonds is the card that knows that this world is an illusion, that there is something more. 8 of Diamond is a magic card that brings us good luck. 8 of Diamonds people are very alined, and therefor reality tends to manifest in a way that we call "luck".

Well, I think personally that you’re spot on, as a 5c with a 3d sun.  My intuition is 100% my guide to the point that, if it feels wrong, I just cannot do it, and that’s been the case the majority of my adult life.  Ernst says that the 3d has an uncanny capacity for knowing what feels or is the wrong thing to do, and I can attest to that 100%.  I experience a rapid shifting out of what becomes the wrong thing, or seem to be able to side step it. And since I meditate, the antenna effect you describe is there.  This is coming from 3d on the sun card.  I can see how 3d could be a challenging birth card, but as a 5c I think it’s great because that 3d on my sun makes change much more likely to work out.  I would speculate that a person less interested in spiritual development might have a harder time with a 5c birth card and a 3d sun, but since spiritual development is my main focus in life, I find it wonderful to have ( as you suggested, the antenna is towards what we simply call God).  I think you’re onto something.

@ashtangi108 This post strangely showed up in my feed just recently. Had I seen it before I would have answered you earlier, of course.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! And you know what? I´m a 5 of Clubs too! And yes, I think Ernst´s description of the peculiar 3 of Diamonds is incredible; how it manages to capture the filter feature of that card, knowing what´s not gonna work.

@meyes Yes, it is so true.  I once walked off a job I was given in my 20's because it just felt wrong, my feet could no longer stay in the building.  Thank you for writing back, two 5C crazy about the CoT.  That job exodus was about the same time my friend asked me how I always had money to travel, and I replied " I have three jobs." (3D statement)  5C can work.  But that 3D sun, gotta be careful.  Psychic burnout is real.  I have a 3s husband and he always says to slow down (very 4S statement). I have also noticed that my 5s son will whip out his homework and power through it in typical "5" fashion just to move on as fast as he can.

But back to 3D sun, Ernst spoke of his friend who could not even think about cleaning the beater bar on her vacuum cleaner and said he had an interesting relationship to the material world ( or something like that)....Mattias what do you think about that 3D description?  I absolutely know how to get mechanical and CAN do those things, however, I seem through grace to never HAVE to do those things.  I can think about them, but someone in my life is always swooping in to take care of those types of things for me.  Have you had this experience?  I was initially thinking how Ernst was being kind of harsh on 3D sun, then I had to concede he had a certain point ( as usual) but the way earthly minutiae/mechanical detail work manifests for me is... someone else is already taking care of it.  Even when I try to get in and get involved in little things like that, the situation ends up being taken care of by someone else well over 80% of the time.

And in typical 3D nature, at 49 years old, I have ... more than one job.  The cards are the real deal .  So much more straightforward than V Astrology to learn 1st.  I know bc i "learned" western astrology in the 90's and have had to unlearn a lot and struggle w V Astrology.  Luckily I got really into the CoT during Sa tr my 11th from the moon.

@ashtangi108 Hi there, sorry for my late answer, I haven´t been active in the forum for a while.

I agree on everything you say. Also about the vedic astrology: I´m very much in love with it but it´s complicated, and I decided from the beginning to focus on the cards first. I have a Jupiter/Ketu conjunction that makes astrology quite possible for me, but also a good Venus that helps me a lot, I suppose, to connect with the cards. Those nature symbols are so deep, intuitive and meaningful. I hope to have the time to become a fullfledged astrologer one day, but since I have the card I don´t feel that I´m in a great hurry.

Now, about 3D and practicality. Or 5C in general. I chose to answer with an example. I saw a headline in a newspaper a short while ago, something like: "I know that I´m not authistic, but I can´t understand why I have such problems dealing with the practicalities of life." "Well", I answered to myself, "it might be because you are a five of clubs!" It turned out that the person behind the statement had an unusual name and that I good google her, and guess what: I was right, she turned out to be a five of clubs.

As for myself I´ve aspberger´s syndrom, so maybe that helps too... But indeed. With that said: I can be VERY practical, when it comes to planning; i never miss a train or a bus for example and I´m good at dealing with finances. But the minute things... Also my Saturn is starved, so there are a variety of factors. But no, dealing with the concrete real is no fun. And a part of my planning, like trying to be succesful in some field, just never works. I stumbled into a job as a crossword writer 23 years ago and that´s still how I make my living. Do you remember what Ernst says in the foundation course about 4C as a Pluto card? It often gives you a job that you might not love, but stays with you for a long time. That´s exactly how it has been for me. And can you imagine a more square activity than being a crossword editor? (The kind of crosswords, I think they are called "Swedish", where you write the concepts in small squares.)

Ages: I´m 53, almost 54, so I´m right now experiencing the change that comes when we turn 52. Just keep up for a couple of more years and you will see! For me, as a man, it has meant a huge change from a more masculine, active way of being a thinking into a more feminine and receptive attitude. Kind of contradictorious since I´ve a changed from a red to a black card, but I can´t describe it in another way. It also alines with what Ernst teachs us, based on Pat Allens teaching, about the testosterone going down in men, allowing us to be more in touch with our feminine side when we grow older. I met a woman, a few years younger than me, this year, and she is highly capable in the field of herbal medicine. I´m getting used to the idea of playing the second violin in our relationship, when it comes to dealing with the outer world, and I must say that it´s a huge relief. In my last vision quest (out of four) a few years ago I had this vision of happiness and fulfillment finally coming into my life, and I couldn´t see where it would come from. But indeed, it´s happening. I´m healing with tobacco, and the "grandfather tobacco" has told me over and over again since I started a year ago: "Receptivity, receptivity, receptivity. You must strengthen your feminine side." And indeed, it works... I think that as a 5 of Clubs you HAVE to be strong in your feminine side, or your 7D Mercury is just going to kill you! A 5 of Clubs just CAN´T control the major event´s in their life, things don´t tend to work out as we plan. With that said: often it works out much better, just in a completely different way than what we expect. So letting go of control and being more feminine, more receptive, learning to go with the flow: I highly recommend it.
