My mother passed this week and I, of course, though just starting to study this system, wanted to see what her (an my) cards looked liked; they are attached. Mom's daily spread and my daily spread on day of death are attached. See passed at 4 pm.
Some questions...
I don't have mom's birthtime and entered it as 12PM. Is there any insight into what time she might have been born, giving the daily spread?
Is the strongest card possibly indicating death the 7 Spades in the 9th position?
I'd welcome any comments on this.

I don't know Kala well enough (yet) so I'm attaching image of transits on the day she passed. Interested in the comment on nodal axis and growth... I find it interesting Pluto is almost on my first house and Saturn is sitting on my sun and chiron... I knew this would be a pivotal time... Hope it doesn't last too much longer!
Transit wise you have saturn together with your sun in the middle of that. Mars is the mother and saturn is death and its on you, the sun.
From your 4th house, the mother, the cusp is gemini, the 8th house of death from that is capricorn ruled by saturn and saturn is with mars the mother.
YOu also had the new moon joined with mercury, who is your 8th rasi lord and moon is also a planet for mother.
So pretty much every major transit happening in your chart that day connected saturn or the 8th to your mother.
@ernst Wow; thanks. What a time this has been... Is there any meaning to the transiting pluto that is sitting on my first house cusp, do you think? Also, with my mom's cards on day she died (4:00 pm) can I narrow down what time she was born? Thanks...
@lisakuimjiansbcglobal-net Yes, pluto on your first is a time of huge change. So probably everythign that you identified with because of your mother's influence that you don't need to move forward with will be shed with her death. YOu can narrow down her birht time with any event, including her passing using the transit rectifications ,but really, you need a few events, not just one.

My condolences too. Interesting that you both run 7S that day.
I run 7S as my year card this year. I´ll do what I can to survive... I decided early this year to give myself a period of rest after many years of hard work, so hopefully that card just stands for lazyness for me.
