Thoughts on reading a 10 on the Ecliptic in the yearly spread.  The man in my life has a birthday this week, and mine follows soon after.  We both have the 10as the ecliptic card this coming year. In general what is the best way to consider this?  Is it possible that a person could be dealing with all numbers of that suit or primarily the ones that are present in the spread(s) year, birth spread and or 7 year progression?

In our 7 year progression we both have a spade connecting to the year also, in his case another 10, and in mine a Queen. It is 2020 so -  need I say more?!?

I believe I heard Ernst say, that it will focus on the cards in the spread of the same suit. But since then, I have heard others suggest that you will get all the numbers from 1-9 of the given suit, when it is on the ecliptic. How do you approach this?

Thanks, LT

I would pay attention to all spades present, when 10♠️ is on EC... but I don't know if I would see it as "getting all spades 1-9" . Maybe someone else can tell us how they go about it.

A self-centered year with great possibilities for self knowledge, I´d say. Through hardships? Maybe.

And may believe it´s about juggling all the spades, since it is a juggling card, but of course the spades present are being pointed out. I would also have an extra look at the Sun card, since 10 is also a 1.

@meyes Yes, I reviewed the lessons that I thought would shed light on 10's and also ecliptic.  I took from it similar to what you stated, that all numbers 1-9 would be "juggled" with a focus on any of those present for the year or in the Birth spread.

Since I have in my birth spread the 10♠ as my queen/neptune card, and that of course points me back to the ecliptic and also my 2♠ Sun card.  So whatever this year brings, Time - The Universe - God - Fate, has given me enough experience to handle those challenges.

Or perhaps "Enlightenment" >>> Insert a page of ROFL emoji here please <<<  I jest, but always hope to come through this, and every year with just a little more wisdom than I started with. ~Peace~

Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn’t the spread you are looking at have all three face cards in the ♠️ suit, along with the 10♠️? Is it possible that is why you were wondering if you would be dealing with all the cards in the same suit?

It also has two other 10 cards. So I would say it is a completion year on a bigger level. The Uranus card might help see things in a different way, and the Neptune card will definitely help as it is a Queen.

Of course, it all depends on how many planets and house cusps are getting affected, and if they are any of the major ones.

But, I might have gotten the spread itself wrong. Do let me know.

@manisha You are correct, in my case I do have all three face cards of ♠ suit in the year spread, Q♠ is my BC Queen card and it is also, showing in the 7 year progression for this year. The more I study the spread, and allow my focus to wander, I am looking more at all the 5's and the connections there. All things you mention are true, greatly appreciated, likely you are correct completion on many levels. Image attached for reference.

As I consider the placement of 10♠ on the ecliptic in a more "general" sense, it is good to know how to think on it. As you pointed to look at those other cards!  Yes!!! I chuckle when I write this, how many times I hear Ernst say, "all things being equal, and they NEVER are".  Therein lies both the mystery and the answer, everything must be considered.  The beauty of the COT system gives us a starting point.

As for the man in my life, he will be running that 10♠ ecliptic two years in a row. He is 4♣ in 49th quadration and his 7 yr progression beginning this year is Q♣ so I guess you know about that spread ???? He has begun to call me the "doom and gloom" astrologer - LOL!  I think I am just trying to get ahead of the challenges, before they show up. Either way, it is what it is...

Thank you again for your insight.  I am learning a new appreciation for the 's suit ❤️

As an onlooker, I would say that it is not a very bad spread. Sun, Moon, Mars, Saturn are fine. Just keep an eye on Mercury, Jupiter and Venus and their periods and the cards they fall in and the cusps they affect. Take each day as it comes instead of predicting what it might bring. Our mind can become our own worst enemy if we are not careful.

Of course, it will bring its own pains and trials, but you also have the support of the Kings and the Queens and the 10s. I have found that it is more painful when I want to control things and outcomes. And it always hurts on the Rahu-Ketu axis. But if I am aware of it, I can take steps to resolve my own prejudices about the matter.

Surrender and acceptance always helps, but is never easy. Glad I could put your mind to rest a bit.

As to the man in your life, he is running A♣️ as his Mercury card, and is being supported by the three face cards of the same suit. Interesting cards for the Uranus and Pluto positions. So, two Aces, two Jacks, a Queen and a King. Great support for self-development.
