Rashi: Aditya Rishi Yaksha Naga Ghandharva Apsara Rakshasa
Can you explane these quality? 🤓
I can, but I wont now. I am actually working on a course about that. However, you have to be careful of your source material as there are many inconsistencies and errors in what you will find... thats all I am saying for now! But glad you are working on this as well as its the oldest symbolic zodiac we have from India. Its not really a zodiac, as its not animals, ZO, its Sudiac, haha, which are aspects of Surya.
In one version Pisces is Vishnu and Scorpio is Parjanya.
Parjanya is supposed to refer to rain and I don't see why Cancer isn't ruled by the Aditya Parjanya because as a solar rashi, Cancer corresponds to the 1st month of the rainy season.
I can see why Varuna could rule the literal 4th house in a chart as that is the Night and the underworld/deep water, but not specifically the month of Cancer.
Jaimini associates Scorpio with Vishnu, so that works. But Pisces is the sign of liberation from a cycle e.g. Moksha and unity and Vishnu grants moksha so that works too.
It seems that the dark hidden realm of Scorpio, the 8th house, and the secret hidden laws of nature that we don't know how to control, and where we lose control, would be ruled by Varuna, since only he knows them. Scorpio is a black hole.
But I am not a rishi so who am I to judge?
Looking forward to that course!
I've been contemplating the Adityas and the older Indian and Asian "zodiacs" for some time now and there is a lot of untapped potential. Maybe a little of it has even been hidden in plain sight?
