hi Ernst
Sun is a kshtriya planet. It can be in different caste signs.
So Sun will be a prominent planet in Government Leaders and politicians
So how it would behave by being in different castes? I was just contemplating based on how you generally explain caste qualities. Can we add anything more significant to these as well?
Brahmin - Leader will do his job without worrying about the outcome
Kshtriya - Leader will do his job like a true warrior
Vaishya - Leader will see his job as an opportunity to make money or do like trade, not a natural inspiration. Most likely become a corrupt leader or politician or a businessman kind of leader?
Shudra - Leader will just do his job just for the sake of doing it.
Also Sun can be extremely delighted or starved, that will just say how happy or sad sun feels in following the above patterns in different castes.
Thank you
Hi Amit,
I don't know the answer to your question but it's a very interesting analysis. I was wondering how can we determine what cast a person "is from". Do you look at the ascendant, the Sun or other planet(s)/combo of planets in the signs?
Thanks
Mona
I would go deeper than that. The Sun is a King, a Kshatriya. A King might be a leader, but he does not just sit on the throne giving orders. He also plays many different roles. A Kshatriya does what needs to be done. The King goes beyond what a normal Kshatriya does, beyond what Mars would do. It is because he cares.
The Sun is 1. He is the beginning. It is his kingdom. The other planets can work as gatekeepers at the kingdom, or end up trying to destroy it. The Sun is the last sentinel within the walls. He is where the buck stops.
Then we look at the roles of Brahmin, Kshatriyas, Vaishya and Sudra - not just the surface level jobs, but what it means deep down. A Brahmin is good and virtuous, displays self-control, offers emotional support - the role of the water signs. A Kshatriya is one who takes action to protect those under his care. A Vaishya is one who knows the value of things and can trade properly to help maintain the economy within the kingdom. A Sudra is one who takes care of mundane things so everything can run smoothly. Each of these places are important and none is better or less than others.
The Sun as a King and a Kshatriya is all of this. So if he was in the sign of Brahmin, he would display caring qualities. In Kshatriya sign, he would take action. In Vaishya, he would know what to keep and what to let go of. In Sudra, he will roll up his sleeves and dig trenches if he needs to.
So a teacher having a career planet in a Kshatriya sign, would perhaps use interaction as a tool to help the students understand. If the teacher is harsh or ruthless, then something is hindering the flow. In Vaishya, he would figure out what to allow and let go of. In Brahmin, he will be so much a part of what he is teaching that he will get the students hooked on. In Sudra, the air signs, he will figure out how to best do what he does.
Even though we make it all about others, everything is about personal evolution. The more we evolve, the more we get back in return. If we only go after what we want, we end up having expectations and getting disappointed.
You can't judge how a person will behave properly with their caste structure by seeing the caste of the the caste planet's sign. The most important thing to see that is to look at their Jupiter as Jupiter is the goal we are striving for. A starved Jupiter can point to a goal not aligned with the caste.
The caste of a sign has a lot to say about the motivation. Kshatriya signs want to change the world that the person is part of. Brahmin signs simply want to understand whats really happening. Sudra signs want to get their material needs met. Vaishya signs want to perform at their best.
