Hi Ernst,

If one of Venus’s signs stands for win-win situation, why is Venus exalted in Pisces? Isn’t that more of an unconditional kind of love? The win-win situation then will be more of an overflowing of love that can’t be contained and hence needs to flow out? Like an Ace of Cups depiction? But isn’t that more of a Jupiter kind of giving?

Also, if Jupiter is the space, why is only Venus a Karaka of vehicles? Why not Venus and Jupiter together? If Venus stands for luxury, that luxury comes from Jupiter’s abundance, wouldn’t that be so? And depending on how abundant Jupiter is, the space around expands, giving more luxurious items in terms of bigger cars or spacious houses. Wouldn’t a two-wheeler be a more better depiction of Venus’s vehicle instead of an enclosed car?

I have been trying to figure out the connection between Jupiter and Venus, and perhaps trying to forge the path between the two within myself.

Venus is the planet who has the ability to choose the things of best value and Pisces is the sign of understanding that the world is full of best and shitty things. So Venus gets very comfortable to pick up the best  and leave the shit on account of Libra qualities.

Venus gets debilitated in Virgo because Virgo sees everything as God like an innocent girl makes no difference between a saint and a sinner. All is same. So how can Venus choose things of higher value in Virgo.

Venus is win win because it knows what things have what value accurately and likes to provide the value that it deserves.

Venus represents vehicles because it represents sailing through life. If venus good in d16, the person has a good inner suspension, so doesn't feel like jumping up and down even when road is rough, big bumps can come but they can absorb the shocks comfortably. But if bad suspension system, little jerks also can cause the person to jump like pop corns.

Jupiter is more of a spiritual planet whose intention is to feel bliss and joy through devotion and expansion of consciousness into the infinite space like enlightened yogis do. That's why it is key planet in d20. So its connotation of space is secondary in physical terms.

Abundance, prosperity and fortune is mercury where a person gets a greater share on account of meriting them. That's why it's a key planet in D4.

Thanks to Ernst

Once a person develops a foundation of working 2 way street love, which is venus, they are set up to developing abundance of Jupiter love. Venus is pisces is the abundance that comes from having had a foundation of working two way street love with someone or something. Divine love is charitable love, it comes out of abundance. But, keep in mind, to always look at the rasis of a planet, so if venus is exalted and taurus or libra has bad lajjitaaadi avastha planets in it, you are going to see some huge things wrong in the actuality of working two way street foundations.

@ernst your comment reminds me that you really have to look at the entire chart and not just one planet... I remember one of the example charts that you discussed and this person has several exalted planets and other planets are in good dignity, yet his life was a total mess. So you really have to analyze the entire chart as a whole. Thx!

@ernst

Thank you. That gives me the framework for Jupiter and Venus working together.

Not really. Don't we desire joy too? Venus is simply working situations that are maintainable and good for us. What we call desire in a negative sense is the result of bad avastha plants.

Hi Ernst,

If, as you say, “Venus is simply working situations that are maintainable and good for us”, a combust Venus can’t do that, is that right?

So how does the self-worth and win-win situation of a combust Venus work? If a Sun-Venus conjunction is about finding beauty and inspiration from within, does it work the same with a combust Venus?
