I'm not really sure if this is an omen but thought I'd share, anyways.

I'm running my natal 8 of Spades Saturn card this year and am on an Ace of Spades Ecliptic Path. A few weeks ago I got a splinter from picking up my laptop. A black piece of plastic drove deep enough under the nail of my right index finger where I couldn't pull it out, yet I could still see it because it was black. There was no blood, but that didn't stop me from worrying I would get blood poisoning and die, thanks to Saturn. I debated going to the doctor but ultimately decided against it because It wasn't bleeding and I didn't want to risk potentially being exposed to the virus and subsequently dying that way. After about 7 days of soaking my finger in baking soda, I woke up on the 8th day to see that the splinter had fallen out on it's own.

I originally cast a spread asking if the splinter would heal on it's own and received: Ace of Spades, 3 of Hearts, and 2 of Spades.

I also cast a spread asking if I should go see a doctor and received: 8 of Spades, 7 of Clubs, and Queen of Diamonds Reversed. (I interpreted this to mean the doctor would not be able to remove the splinter for me).

If you are open to it, I would love to hear how you interpreted the cards.

Sure 🙂

For the Ace of Spades + 3 of Hearts + 2 of Spades

I interpreted the Ace of Spades to be the initial planting of the seed (splinter) deep within the soil of my skin. The 3 of Hearts is associated with blood so I assumed that might mean the splinter would pierce through my skin and perhaps bleed itself out. Or that through my blood circulation and blood flowing to the seed, it would be expunged that way. And with the 2 of Spades being the card of a cure and healing, I imagined the little seed splinter bursting forth from the earth of my skin on it's own terms.

For the 8 of Spades + 7 of Clubs + Queen of Diamonds Reversed

Initially, I interpreted this spread to mean a trip to the doctor (8 of Spades) that would prove to be fruitless for me. Perhaps with the doctor advising me that the splinter was too deep to be removed and I would need to wait for it to come out on it's own.

However, now that I'm healed and the event is over, I think these cards may have been advice to me directly. The 8 of Spades on my Saturn card is associated with feeling stuck and having to dig deep to change one's mental attitude about their physical and psychological health. So coupled with the 7 of Clubs, I now believe I was being shown I needed to get rid of my initial fears about not being able to cure myself and get creative with the resources that I had (Jack of Diamonds). In my case, those resources were google and some baking soda.

I'm open to hearing other interpretations as well 🙂

I'm wondering if this ordeal can be considered an omen for what lies ahead in my Saturn period this year or just as a Saturn omen in general.

Why three cards? What does each position stands for? It´s hard to interpret them without knowing that, I think.

You seem to be quite fearful in front of physical threats? Part of the 8 of Spades experience perhaps...?

I often find I get more clarity when pulling cards in this way, tarot style. Three cards gives me more clarification than just one card. I don't always come up with the interpretation right away. Contemplating the cards throughout the day as I'm working on other things, that's usually when clarity will come to me on it's own and I'm given the meaning. Sometimes formal spreads don't resonate with me, Plus they're harder to memorize lol

It's probably a Jack of Spades or 8 of Spades thing. Both cards are important in my spread.
