If you get a question from a person: when will I have a child? How do you established the person will have children in the first place before you start looking at when? What do you find is a no-children chart? I have done some research but so far have found anything solid. Thank you.

Hi David108,

In Jaimini, the sutras between 1.4.25 to 1.4.31 are about Children and Childlessness. They are pretty much accurate especially with a solid birth time and checked from both parties’ charts.

Thank you

Which the technique taught by Mr. Wilhelm can be found under the Audio courses, Jaimini Upadesa Sutras, Chapter 1, Pada 4.

@zumrutd I have checked my notes. Would I be correct to assume that whenever we have Jupiter, MKPuK or PuK with Sun, Jupiter or Rahu in D1, the person is not childless?

Analyze D-7, look at Jupiter...

@tuyetv I had this idea. I checked dozens of charts of childless people and was happy to discover they had their Jupiter under influence of more malefics than benefics in D1, D7 and D60. Then my bubble burst when I found out that people with children could have the same influences. Eventually I will find out a viable formula though.

i find that children is tricky and not easy to determine. I use Jaimini technique and i also look at D-7, D-9  and Jupiter...

@tuyetv

Same here. I find it very difficult to predict, maybe @ZumrutD you have the 'trick' with that jaimini technique.

I think maybe another good way to determine children is to see manifesting/separating factors to 5th bhava and Ju factors. My favorite part about that jaimini technique is finding out about all my female friends that have had abortions/miscarriages and surprising them... ???? ???? . Especially when I found out my mother had a miscarriage for her first pregnancy, only found that out by her chart...

@scott-m-19 Hi,

Same here! Lots of miscarriages 😉 and confessions coming out. But really, it includes to be lucky with the birth time, as the MK/PuK can change in 1 second. But if there’s luck and that womb is correct to begin with, then mostly the count of children could turn out to be correct.

I agree with all that @tuyetv recommends.

Oh @David108, it just came to my mind, as it is not a frequent technique that I use to predict the children. However, it could be useful. The Planetary Ages! There, you could check whether or not there are any children possible from D7 after the age of Jupiter starts, 32. Usually if it’s an early marriage, the children start coming at the age of Venus (12-32) and therefore, D9 is to be checked-usually near the ends of that Venus age dasas, after around Venus 10, 11, 12.
I use the planetary ages technique to fine-tune the birth time if the marriage and children birth dates are given by the querist.

Thank you

Zumrut
