Hi Ernst 

If there is a misery yoga in a varga with exchange of a 6,8 or 12 rasi lord with other rasi Lord but those yoga forming planets do not rule the key bhavas in that varga, will it still create lot of misery for that varga?

There will be misery, but not as bad of course as if the main house was involved, or the lagna involved.
